Within the project “Svirzh Castle. Genesis. The elaboration of the concept of revitalization and adaptation of the castle”, which won an individual grant of Ukrainian Cultural Fund this year, the intense filming of the professional photographer Oleksandr Prymak, which lasted for five days, took place. From 14 to 18 September he researched the co-existence of the natural and man-made landscape, architectural forms and historical scars of the castle. This photo-residence resulted in the new collection of photos – they will be presented many times during the projects of the Svirzh Castle Cultural Center.
Oleksandr Prymak was born on 04 September 1957 in Kyiv. He has been dealing with photography since 2006. Member of the National Union of Ukrainian Photo-Artists since 2008. Joined the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) in 2011.Works in the oil printing technique.
